Sometimes he seems to make G.W.F. Hegel sound transparent. That said, where I can understand him, Divers is deep, thorough and interesting. He certainly is not loathe to take on the controversial issues and their proponents. However, I would recommend Ron Girle's work on possible worlds in preference to Dovers, because Girle covers much of the same ground in language that a lay person can understand.
