Irena Steinfeldt (Israel) worked with filmmaker Claude Lanzmann on the documentary Shoah. In 1993 she joined Yad Vashem and in 2007 was appointed Director of the Righteous Among the Nations Department, retiring from Yad Vashem in 2018.
