I bought this after needing to study for the GED after being out of school for 24 years. I passed my 3rd test today, I only have math to go. If you study this book, you will pass. Every question was addressed at some point in this book. Tons of sample questions and review questions, 2 practice test for each subject. As I said, I still have math to go which will be my greatest challenge but this book prepared me well for language arts, science and social studies. It's a huge book packed with tons of info. I actually loved the social studies portion...I learned so much 😉. I recommend this book for sure **updated august 13, 2016-I took my math test today and passed (yay! I'm all done!). I have a lot of issues with math, and yes this book helped but I found it to be a little lacking in explanation on how to find the answer to difficult math problems. If math comes easy to you this will be all you need, if not, I would get a book that is focused on math process to supplement the math portion in this book. Again, it is very thorough and I passed all test on the first try with just this book and a little YouTube help on the math section. I wish everyone seeking their GED the best of luck, it's a great feeling when your finally done

In our GED study center, we have all of the major GED test preparation books. This is by far the best value for the money in the Math area. As I am the math teacher, I cannot speak to the other sections. Unlike the other books, students can often understand the explanations without me having to actively teach them, and there is just the right mix of explanations and exercises.

I brought this book for my step daughter and she loves it. She needed to brush up on some of her work due to failing three out of four exams by literally one, three, and six points. Anyways, she is still going forward and finds this book very helpful. She said there are questions in the book that look exactly like what is on the original exam. She gives it 5 stars!

I have helped 27 people with their GED and every single one i have had get this book as a guideline. It is easy to understand, has examples, preparation test, and contains all the info a person needs to actually take the GED test!

I bought this for a family member who thought they didn't need to study for the GED test and would pass it. I like this product because when he took the tests in the book he was able to see what he needed to work on, which was a lot more than he had expected. He tried other books and felt that this book was better at explaining everything.

It was adequate for preparing for the GED test in 2016. The GED test changed in 2014 and this book does an ok job at preparing you for the new version. There were a few errors in math portion of the book (wrong answers). And some of the science lessons were more in-dept than what was necessary for the test (punnett square lessons in the book were far more complicated than needed). But overall It was pretty useful.

This book has been invaluable to me in teaching my adult student who is preparing for her GED examination. I have used various elements in the book to prepare lessons for my student. I would highly recommend this book to both GED students and their teachers.

I ordered the Kindle version of this to help my son prepare for his GED test. It is very comprehensive and has a ton of practice questions, it is great.
